This harness allow you to diagnose Tesla CAN signals through the CAN interface. You can use the harness to connect different OBD-II tools such as OBDLink MX+ and CANserver. Applications that can be used include ScanMyTesla, tesLAX, TM-Spy and CANdash.
Both Vehicle CAN and Chassis CAN can be connected through this harness.

The harness can be connected under the touchscreen and above the wireless charging pad.
* The female connector is reserved for other devices such as Tailgate Foot Activation and Lighted Applique. You can leave it open if you don’t have other devices reading CAN signal.

Works perfect! The cover between the screen and the charging port is hard to get off but once it’s off, it was easy to install the cable. Had to detach the connector from the cover and then route it to the drivers side. Initially it was not working. Had to clear the data on scanmytesla app and then it worked!
