I installed the Mark 2.5 in my car and super happy with the results. Very well though-out kit. I also helped a friend install the competitor’s most recent kit that copied the CAN connection feature from Tesla Offer. The competitor’s kit did not have a working CAN safety feature and is significantly noisier. Buy this kit, you won’t regret it. It’s quiet, smooth and just works.

Just installed the Mark 2.5 version. Worked fine and is pretty quiet in operation. It would have been helpful to me if there was a picture of each cable and saying what they were for. There are a lot of cables involved. Also routing of strut cables I did via bumper, no need to remove it, as over trunk sill or via rear lamp risked cutting / crushing cable I thought.

Really enjoying this convenience addition to my Model 3! It took me about 3 hours to install, all steps are very easy except for routing the wires through the black tubing up into the trunk, that was much easier after getting some wire lube from the store. Being able to open/close from all interfaces just like the OEM powered trunk can makes it a great upgrade for my formerly powerless trunk!
