I only give these a 4 star, not a 5 star because of the lack of instructions. Otherwise they are great so far, but I just installed them. I hope some people find this review and learn from this. I first hooked up the red wire / jumper, from the 3rd break light, to the inner tail light yellow/red wires connector. WRONG. It goes to the connector with the green/black wires. Otherwise the amber turn signals don’t work and the tail lights blink red on turn signal and when you turn the lights on at night, nothing comes on anywhere. So, why oh why does Alpharex not have this in a wiring diagram for people!? Anyway, last point, there are two green bullet connectors on the inner and outer tail lights which have male/female on each. No info. about this either ….. Here it is, if you connect the bullet connectors on the inner then it is no longer a sequential flash for a turn signal, just a solid flash. BUT if you want the solid flash on the inner and outer, both left and right then you have to connect all the bullet connectors at every location. They are individual over-rides for solid blinking. I hope this makes sense and helps some people. Unbelievable the Alpharex website installation guide with pictures doesn’t mention this anywhere or even really show it in the pictures they took. Wow… but after you get them hooked up, they are much nicer looking than OEM. Hopefully the water doesn’t find its way in so I put a little bit of extra silicone along the top of the inners. Just don’t take it to the touchless car wash and if you spray water on the car, don’t do it at these lights because the installation time is crazy since you have to route another wire through your rear hatch, down through the OEM rubber connector (which is very tight) and then through several panels in the trunk, etc. Anyway this is a 4-6 hour install at best. The side with the charge port is a big pain too especially if you had a screw that stripped like mine and then I had to use a multitool to notch the bracket that was spinning so I could put in a flat head and then get the screw out. If you can’t get the charge bay out, you can’t put in the driver’s tail light. Anyway, hope this helps some people.
