Touch Screen Feature Information

By default, Tesla’s v9 software does not allow the tailgate to close via the touchscreen, preserving accurate trunk status and preventing forgotten closures.
However, if you’d like to restore the touchscreen closing feature, you have two options:

1. Remark your order, and we’ll modify the wiring for you so the trunk status will always show as “closed” on the car.
2. Advanced users can modify the internal.dat (powerlift 1) for manual customization.
