OMG! This works!! I was skeptical, but for the price I was willing to try this on my 2022 Tesla Model S Plaid. I ordered the correct stalk for year and maybe 10 days later they arrived. I watched the install video and attempted the install. I couldn’t get past the first step of getting the airbag out. Luckily, I wen to the Tesla service center and a mechanic told me you have to really use some power to move the spring. Be careful with he left side as you can go too far and hit the wire harness. Just keep the inner tip angled slightly back to you. So Boom! He popped the airbag with me and I could now see what I needed to do. The install video acts like it is no big deal but be careful. The tricky part which the video makes seem trivial is the removal of the steering wheel. You need a 10mm hex socket and breaker bar as the bolt is tight and mine had threadlocker applied. Finally I got it loose and the rest was much easier. The controls worked flawlessly!!. Also. the video says nothing about powering off the car. All online forums say to disconnect the 12V battery, but like in the video, I did not. One tip I might do is rotate the steering wheel until it locks before attempting to remove it to prevent it from moving while working the center nut as it is so tight. In the video you can see he has a friend hold for him. I am very satisfied with the quality and fit of this product. Not sponsored by this company and I paid for parts.
