Introducing Soft Closing Doors for Volkswagen ID.4 – the ultimate solution for added convenience and safety. Our doors boast a secondary smart lock that provides a buffer time for the extraction of the object from the first stage to the second stage. During the closing process, you’ll experience a pause of about 1 second for enhanced visual performance.

With our Soft Closing Doors, you’ll also have access to an emergency door opening feature that allows you to pull the door handle to open the door even when it’s closing. Plus, our active protection circuit ensures that the Soft Closing Doors will automatically stop if the door has been opened and closed 30 times in any 5-minute period. And, the doors will resume the soft close function automatically after being closed for 1 minute.

Our Soft Closing Doors are equipped with second unlock protection for added security. When the outer door handle is pulled for more than 4 seconds, the mechanism automatically realizes the secondary unlocking protection by repeating the separation action between the meshing transmission gears to relax the wire drawing mechanism.

With our D.C. Driving Clutch technology, Soft Closing Doors offer unparalleled performance and convenience. It provides a 2-stage closing action to ensure the door is fully locked. Additionally, the door features a safety anti-pinch function for added security.

The kit come with replacement lock units to replace the OEM lock unit.
