This is a DIY kit and requires no wire tapping or splicing. However, you may need to cut the OEM buckle case for the rear middle buckle. It is 100% plug and play.
Features:
- Welcome Effect – Color keeps changing when any of the 5 seat belts are not buckled when it is occupied (except the rear center one where it follow the rear right seat)
- Door Opened Effect – flash when the corresponding door is opened
- Driving Mode – light will be dimmed when the car is driving over 30km/h or 18mph
* Note: the rear middle buckle light will follow the rear right seat logic.
** Tesla Model Y has a different buckle design in the rear seats. We are working on it and we will release the complete kit for Model Y soon.

Pretty cool add on for the Tesla MY. It gives it a much more high end feel. Only wish it could go dimmer in even slower speed like under 20km. Installation was simple enough even though the video isn’t complete. Customer support was nice enough to answer my questions.
